[Seeing you was] both familiar and different. I find as we re-engage in the "things we used to do", I can't help but feel everything has changed a bit.
I feel privileged you have chosen us to be part of your re-entry. The comfort of this routine means so much as we navigate a World that has shifted under our feet.
This is what my client-friend, Julie, so eloquently said to me after her lifestyle shoot. It perfectly sums up how I feel right now.
FYI: Her family is one I've been photographing since their Ian was a baby. Last year was the first year we skipped!
Thank you, Julie, for being a part of my re-entry too! Seeing your family fills my heart. I am thankful we were able to find a way to stay safe so we didn't miss another year.
Julie said something else that resonated with me. She said this in reference to seeing her photos, but I think it rings true for everything in life...
"We can't wait - but we will wait - because good things are always worth the wait."
Julie is my Oprah.
Wow. Wonderfully written! I love all of your blogs. ☺️
